OVERVIEW
Every one seeks calm and serenity as a break from life’s daily stress. These days, stress takes upmore time and space in our lives; calm and serenity elusive even in sleep.
In our urban environment, stress is as ubiquitous as traffic and fumes. It is pervasive and intrusive. Itaffects everyone regardless of individual’s circumstances. Even wonder why time is a stressor whenone lives in the metro, and is not for one who’s based in a small town?
In the work environment, stress is a hidden cost lurking beneath the surface of every inefficiency, non-performance, low productivity, unnecessary absence from work, conflict, resignation, etc. Companiesare realizing a fundamental connection between employee’s well-being and bottom line.
Crafting Calm offers a clearer understanding of the anatomy of stress – stressors that accompany it,the symptoms, its effects, and what we can do to tame it. This workshop also allows us to discovergood stress and how we might leverage its benefits.
