Working with Microsoft® Office Project

Duration:Two (2) days; 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

Prerequisite:Must have basic Project Management knowledge

This course is designed for individuals who will use Microsoft Office Project 2016 as a tool to assist in creating project plans and managing projects. The topics in this course cover the critical knowledge and skills necessary for a Project Manager to create and save a project as well as updating and adjusting the project plan during the execution, monitoring and controlling phases of a project, by using Microsoft Office Project. Overall, this course will equip the individual to manage a project so that it is completed on time, within budget and according to scope.

LEARNING OBJECTIVE

  3. Create and Organize tasks in a work breakdown structure containing tasks relationships
  4. Create and assign resources in a project plan

  6. Update, monitor and adjust project plan
  7. Create project reports
