Data Analytics using Microsoft Excel
“Without big data analytics, companies are blind and deaf, wandering out onto the Web like deer on a freeway.” ~ Geoffrey Moore
OVERVIEW
They said data is now the new oil. It used to be the oil companies that ruled the globe but it has now been surpassed by data. Whether there is truth to this or not, what’s with data? Data seems to be in everybody’s words today – whether it’s personal data or business data.
Organizations need to make business decisions more quickly and accurately nowadays in order to cope with the changing demands of customers and the environment. These decisions are always based on data and best practice analysis techniques. Gone are the days when decisions are based on reactions or gut feel or “this is how things have been done” attitude. The industry and business landscape have shifted to Big Data and into cyber physical systems (the Industry 4.0 revolution). Because of this, the demand for professionals who can analyze, read and interpret data is increasing.
